Congratulations to Johnstone Construction Senior Quantity Surveyor on successfully qualifying as a Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
Sam is the Senior Quantity Surveyor on the Ngawha Geothermal Power Station for Johnstone Construction. He previously has worked on projects in Hong Kong and Brazil before moving to focus on the New Zealand market in 2017. In Brazil, Sam was the Deputy Commercial Manager of a Coal-fired power plant design and build project which had a contractual price of US$36M. Sam has a Master of Science in Project Management.
The acquiring of this award also reflects the positive learning environment at Johnstone Construction. Johnstone Construction has seen a strong uptake in professional development and training by all team members and is proud to see mentoring taking place company-wide.
