Flora Rivers talks to Pip Buunk at the ‘Give It A Go’ activity at last years Women in Trades event
Johnstone Construction Ltd are delighted to share that Apprentice Carpenter Flora Rivers is the winner of Women In Trades 2019’s Mitre 10 Trade Keynote Award. Flora’s application wowed the judges with her great attitude to life as a woman working in a non-traditional industry and her inspiring goals for the future.
Flora is a wonderful success story for Women In Trades. She is a graduate of Unitec’s Level 3 Certificate in Carpentry, she was part of the Maori & Pacifica Trades Training (MPTT) programme and is currently working towards her Level 4 Certificate with the BCITO.
