It was another great year at the Women in Trades annual event promoting a trades career to women.
The digger was a hit as attendees tried their skills at picking up tennis balls with a spade attached to the bucket and putting them into a (rather small!) container.
The team enjoyed meeting the women and mentoring them on the controls. Some think they can spot the gamers a mile off - “…they have way better hand to control skills!” according to one of the Johnstone Construction crew.
A huge thank you to Krissy Danford, Keys Tahata, Honana Vercoe and Te Tihi Vercoe for organising the activity and inspiring so many attendees with their fantastic teaching skills.
