Congratulations to Johnstone Construction Quantity Surveyor, James Dawson, who has been awarded a prestigious Trust Scholar award.
The H H Bunckenburg Memorial Trust Award Scholar Award is presented to top students studying Quantity Surveying programmes in New Zealand. The HH Bunckenburg Memorial Trust has awarded James a Trust Scholar award for his achievements in his degree studies at Massey last year. Massey nominated James for this award.
James joins a prestigious list of recipients, with the Scholarship first awarded in 1988. The HH Bunckenburg Memorial Trust was established in 1986 in partnership with New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NZIQS) “in recognition of the contribution made to the profession of quantity surveying by the late Henry Herbert Bunckenburg, MBE, ED.”
James initially joined Johnstone Construction as a Quantity Survey Cadet and took time out last year to finish his Degree studies full-time. James has the ability to acquire, and apply knowledge and skills, as well as share these skills with other members of the QS team that he leads at Johnstone Construction.
Well done James.
